for Mawuli Fund –
Ghana
Mr. Martin
Akuetey (’81), its Secretary Mr. Maxwell Tey (’86) and Financial
Coordinator Mrs. Esther Agbeko (‘83), presented two cheques worth
C7million and C15million respectively to Mawuli School for the Mawuli Fund
Scholarship program and School Beds Project this morning. The rather short
but impressive ceremony was performed at the school’s Sunday morning
worship. The C7 million will subsidize school fees for seven students for
a year at a million cedes each, and the C15 million will be used to
construct enough beds for use by 90 students. The Headmaster Mr. Wilson
Bonsi hoped that the Mawuli Fund will be able to help the school acquire
beds for 240 more students.
