Ho, Ghana:  A member of the Board of Trustees of the Mawuli Fund Mr. Mawuli Tse, on Saturday December 14, 2002, commissioned 90 triple Decker beds at the cost of  ¢15m donated by the Mawuli Fund to be used by students of Mawuli School at a short but impressive ceremony at Ho.

In his speech, Mr. Tse thanked the Headmaster and his Staff for the hard work in getting the beds constructed in the shortest possible time. The beds were constructed by the Technical Department of the school and by the students themselves.

Mr. Tse traced the history of the Mawuli Fund and the formation of its Ghanaian subsidiary. He hoped that the setup of these project sponsoring structures would endow Mawuli School and help alleviate fears amongst Mawulians and friends of Mawuli as to the end results of their donations. “This is the beginning of things to come” said Mr. Tse, hoping that in the future, the Mawuli Fund will be able to mobilize more resources to the meet the objectives for which the Fund was set up.

In response, Tator, Mr. W. K. Bonsi thanked the Mawuli Fund for its contributions, and hoped that the Mawuli Fund would sponsor the remaining 80 beds that will sleep 240 additional students. Mr. Bonsi also appealed for help in stocking the school library with relevant text books.
